Fun weekend with great weather

This weekend was spend with my kids and Mike and we had awesome weather. It was 80 degrees on Saturday!! It has been in the 30's in the mornings and 60's through out the day. Mike had to work Saturday so I took the boys to go pay bills and out thrifting of course. I got to wear a maxi dress, sandals and my favorite bubble necklace I got on clearance. It was great to still be able to wear a dress with sandals. I love fall but I love wearing dresses and the warm weather. At night we had a bbq. We ate burgers and jalapeno bombers. Sunday we went to the movies to watch Taken 2. It was such a good movie. Then we went out to eat at Dixie Cafe. Such a great relaxing weekend. Best part is spending time with my family. Today is my husband's birthday. I wnat to wish him a happy birthday. After 16 years of marriage he still makes my heart melt!!

Halloween Fun with the kids!

I love Halloween! As a kid I always loved dressing up. My mom was always so creative with my costumes. The costume I remember the most is when I was 7 and in 1st grade my mom made me a Frankenstein costume. My makeup looked so awesome. But my costume was awful at the end of the day. The clothes was too big and she had me wearing a pair of my dad's steal toe boots that where huge! I couldn't wait to get home and out that costume. Now that I have kids I love to see them dress up and get so excited about Halloween!! I love fall and Halloween and Thanksgiving! Such a nice time of the year and I am so blessed to be able to share it with my family! This year I have been so busy working full time and out of town I did not have alot of time to plan out costumes. But, we worked with what we had and we had lots of fun and that is what is important to me!
